Order Code DDA-05

Available as a 7x5 card on 275gms coated stock with envelope and sealed cellophane bag.

Text on reverse reads:

This spiral design is from one carved in stone on an erect cross-slab in Aberlemno, Forfarshire, Scotland. The erect cross-slabs were ornately carved upright slabs of stone mostly found in Scotland and decorated as if they were pages of illuminated manuscript. This type of sculpted stonework dates from ninth to eleventh centuries. The smaller motifs are derived from an image in The Lindisfarne Gospels.
