My first cards to be sold, were from a self-financed small print run. The intent was to test the water and see if my designs would sell. The response indicated it was worth continuing. At the time, it was also apparent that I needed a publisher to sell the cards. This would allow me to concentrate on the process of creating the designs.

Enter Tantra Designs. At the beginning of 1994, my first proper set of cards appeared. It comprised twelve monochrome designs similar to my own private print run. Only this time, instead of a print run of 400 it was 36,000 cards. Over the years, they were joined by numerous other designs. With window transparencies and bookmarks as well as cards. To date this comes to over 150 different items. There are examples of some of these cards to be found on the thumbnail galleries linked to below.

In 2004 I decided that it was time to take more control of my output and look into the route of self-publication again. This would allow me to determine materials used, print quality etc. In September 2005 my new sets of cards were released. I originally had a separate web site for them. Then I decided it would be easier to amalgamate them into this site. I released the cards under the name Dysis Designs and have left some of the flavour of the old site in the following galleries. Because I now concentrate on the paintings, these are my most recent set of Celtic designs.
