The most time consuming piece of knotwork that I have done. Laying out, drawing then inking in the black and white base image took two solid weeks. Allow another week for cleaning up and colouring and that is a fair while for somethimg that I did simply to see if I could.
This is not an exact facsimile of the original. As is my way, I changed some things.
